Great material but not for trousers

Great material, very soft and a perfect color for fall/winter.
However, it is much too thin and light for trousers and the natural stretch doesn't help either (legs tend to deform a lot after only a few wears). I had to bring my trousers to my alteration tailor after only a couple of weeks. I am afraid I will have to bring them again.
